LPG Autogas Conversions

LPG Autogas conversions are now available across the DFSK petrol range, giving South African businesses a practical way to cut fuel costs without changing vehicles or routes.

Up to 30–50% Cheaper Than Petrol COC Compliant DFSK Approved

How Dual-Fuel Works

A DFSK-approved conversion adds an LPG fuel system alongside the existing petrol system, making your vehicle dual-fuel. At the touch of a button, the driver switches between petrol and LPG, and both tanks stay in place. If LPG runs low, the vehicle falls back to petrol automatically — so there is no range anxiety and no change to your routes or drivers.

Lower Running Costs

Cut fuel spend significantly while keeping the same vehicles, routes and drivers.

Warranty-Safe

A DFSK-approved conversion keeps your vehicle warranty in place.

Cleaner Combustion

LPG burns cleaner than petrol, which may help extend engine life.

No Range Anxiety

Dual-fuel means petrol is always there as a backup where LPG is not yet available.

Fuel Selector Switch — How to Use

  1. 01

    Start on Petrol

Start the vehicle on petrol to allow engine warm-up — approximately 60 seconds.

  2. 02

    Switch to LPG

Once engine is warm, press the LPG selector switch on the dashboard.

  3. 03

    Watch the Indicator

The indicator light flashes briefly while switching, then changes from amber to green.

  4. 04

    Running on LPG

Green light = LPG active. The system auto-switches back to petrol if LPG falls to reserve.

  5. 05

    Manual Switch Back

To manually return to petrol, press the selector switch again at any time.

  6. 06

    Before Parking

When parking for more than 30 minutes, switch back to petrol before stopping.

  7. 07

    Warning Signs

If the LPG warning light flashes rapidly, stop safely and inspect for leaks immediately.

  8. 08

    Always Start on Petrol

Never force-start on LPG. Always start on petrol first, every time.
